Посмеялся, Sony нагнули действительно хакеры. 
Обращаюсь к тем, кто понимает о чём я, через командную строку запускаем трассировку маршрута ru.playstation.com, смотрим последние шаги, кидает сначала на сервер во Франкфурте. Потом кидает на серверы кампании Prolexic в защищённую зону.

Prolexic Technologies was founded in 2003 by Barrett Lyon as a network service which specializes in protecting other web sites from denial-of-service attacks. It gained notability in 2004 for the arrest of Ivan Maksakov. Maksakov was at the heart of an extortion ring which was extorting money from banks, Internet casinos, and other web based businesses. Reported damages caused by Maksakov range in the tens of millions of dollars. Maksakov and three others were found guilty and sentenced to eight years in prison in the Russian Federation with a 100,000 ruble penalty. What enabled Prolexic to succeed was its technology; it was the first network to utilize TCP Anycast for DDoS scrubbing, along with additional proxy based, ASIC and FPGA based scrubbing technologies.
Prolexic helps customers to defend themselves against for example LOIC attacks by the online collective "Anonymous". In 2008 Anonymous attacked the Church of Scientology, who moved their domain to Prolexic after the original threat was posted. In 2010, Prolexic helped companies that were attacked by Anonymous because of their measures against WikiLeaks after the United States diplomatic cables leak.
Prolexic was acquired by IPVG in 2008.

Фактически Sony перенаправляет все соединения на этот сетевой сервис и защищает себя от последующих атак, вводя серверы в состояние защиты, а значит они состоялись.

INDIGO_KID, не факт. Раз принимаются именно дополнительные меры по укреплению защиты сети, то неудивительно.+ это может быть и временно... Если бы перенаправление шло на блог анонимусов или им подобных - то было бы более правдиво Твое предположение.
