Warner Bros. отказалась от переиздания трилогии Mortal Kombat
Если вы росли на играх конца девяностых / начала двухтысячных, то существует огромная вероятность того, что вы играли в Mortal Kombat.
Этот файтинг как был культовым в то время, так и остался им по сей день. Только тогда фигурки персонажей были спрайтовыми и все выглядело несколько иначе.
По всей видимости, кому-то очень сильно этого не хватало. Настолько сильно, что какое-то время студия Blind Squirrel Games занималась переизданием оригинальной трилогии, но потом пришла Warner Bros. и все отменила.
При этом переиздание делалось по крайне высоким стандартам, в нем должен был быть онлайн, Крипт и зарабатывание опыта на каждого из персонажей.
По неизвестным причинам издатель отказался от этого. Стоит добавить, что за год до официального переиздания группа фанатов работала над своим собственным. Эд Бун, когда его увидел, влюбился в то переиздание, но спустя неделю был вынужден расстроить разработчиков новостью, что издатель в нем не заинтересован.
Зато в новой Mortal Kombat 11 заинтересовано большинство любителей файтингов. Игра выходит 23 апреля.
